Hartington is a village lying in the heart of the Dove Valley within the Peak District National Park. Boasting a wonderful selection of local amenities, Hartington has remained a popular holiday destination in the Peaks, home to quaint tearooms, traditional pubs, a cheese shop, and old curiosity shops. Enjoy adventures in the surrounding area with the nearby Tissington Trail popular with walkers and cyclists, along with the beautiful Beresford Dale boasting uniquely formed cliffs and rocks, while the likes of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are just an easy drive away.

It was well equipped, extremely clean and very comfortable. During our stay a couple of issues arose that weâre out of control of the owner Alison, who regardless, went above and beyond to rectified things, keeping us continually informed. Would highly recommend this lovely barn conversion and we intend to return.

A warm and comfortable base with a friendly, helpful and responsive owner. There are three generously furnished double bedrooms, a big kitchen with more than ample cupboard space & worktops. It's also in a great location for walkers and cyclists or indeed for anyone wanting to explore the Peak District. Highly recommended and would love to return.
