Outside is an enclosed courtyard.

Delightful cottage, well laid out and nice modern decor. Kitchen was well equipped and enough space for 4 people (we were only 2 but it wouldn’t feel too cramped with 4). There is a double bedroom with en-suite, twin bedroom and family bathroom upstairs). The underfloor heating in the open-plan downstairs room means it always feels cosy. The rear yard is safe for dogs when the side gate is shut. Decking area catches the afternoon sun which is very pleasant indeed. Being slightly on the edge of the village it’s not difficult to find street parking and very little traffic goes by the house so it’s fairly calm. It’s less than 10 minutes’ walk to the main harbour area with shops and restaurants. Up the hill (The Shrubberies) you have access in 10 minutes to a footpath leading to the lovely Penrose Estate (Saturday parkrun there starts down in Helston opposite the boating lake)

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in your lovely cottage, and would be more than happy to rebook in the future. Perfect location for privacy yet near to all local amenities. The welcome booklet held a well of information for people who may not have visited Porthleven previously.

A lovely well equipped property with everything we needed. Easy to walk to pubs, shops etc. in Porthleven, parking was no problem at all. Will definitely return.
