The coastal town of Falmouth is a short drive away, with two fantastic beaches, the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, the hilltop Pendennis Castle, which overlooks the sea and was built by King Henry VIII, and bat trips that will take you to St Mawes, where you can discover the spectacular Roseland Heritage Coast. You are also close to the subtropical Trebah Gardens and the Lizard Heritage Coast, while a few miles north will bring you to St Agnes and the surrounding heritage coastline, with a choice of sandy beaches that enjoy North Atlantic waves and are fantastic for surfing and a range of watersports.
