The single-storey converted barn is set in an elevated position and boasts far-reaching rural views. You’ll have a choice of areas to relax outside, including a decked terrace with outdoor seating, a fire pit and a large lawn where children and dogs can play. You’ll also have easy access to the river for wild swimming, or you can bring your own kayak or paddleboard.

The historic town of Great Torrington is 10.5 miles away and has a good selection of independent shops, cafes and pubs. The town also hosts regular markets and is a great place to pick up local arts and crafts, as well as delicious produce for your supper. For a day at the coast, journey to Bude, where you’ll discover a fabulous, sandy beach, tidal pool, dramatic cliff-top walks, and traditional seaside shops and eateries. Nearby family attractions include RHS Rosemoor, The Big Sheep, and Dartington Crystal (all within 20 miles).
