This delightful cottage, as the name suggests, is a former coastguard's cottage in the small hamlet of Stoke between Hartland Quay and Hartland village. Beautifully located, this comfortable cottage is the perfect base to explore this wonderful area, and to while away the evenings in the generous garden after a day exploring.

For families: DVD`s and games.
Outside:
Front garden: Picnic table and chairs in a sheltered, sunny area. Rear garden: An attractive, very large, enclosed garden area, adjacent to woodland area. Paved patio area with table and chairs.
Parking: On road parking by the church with no restrictions, or further down the lane towards Hartland Point.
General: Bed linen and towels provided. Please bring your own beach towels. No smoking. Welcome Pack. Logs provided for woodburner. Electric and oil included.
Pets: 2 pets are allowed.
Accessibility: No issues unless you have mobility problems.

No. 3 is a perfect, cosy and well equipped cottage, with a lovely garden and was a great base for exploring with our children and dog. We loved the woodland and river walks down to Blackpool Mill Beach - when the tide is out this is a real gem for swimming and rock pooling. We also enjoyed swimming at the quay, and watching the sun set there after dinner at the Wrecker’s pub. Sandymouth Bay is another great beach within 30 mins drive. Can’t wait to visit again.
