Bridestowe is a quaint Devon village on the outskirts of Dartmoor National Park that is home to a number of helpful establishments, including a restaurant and a general store. As much as we enjoyed our stay I am not sure why it is advertised as a property that sleeps 4 (it is made clear there is only 1 bed but I mistakenly assumed there must be a couch bed aswell) as it is very much designed for 2 people however the host did offer us an extra chair for outdoor use from a neighbouring property & asked if we needed a mattress at all for our teenage daughter. I would certainly re-book this property myself & recommend it to others as a perfect place for couples to stay.

Lovely setting with plenty of places to exercise your dog. Need to remember pound coins for electric as this not advertised. Wi-Fi wasnât working when we got there but owner sorted out with a mobile one which worked well. No dishwasher as advertised but then as only 2 of us wouldnât have used anyway.
