You will be well placed for exploring The Forest of Dean and you can experience a wide array of outdoor activities such as cycling, walking, horse riding, fishing, canoeing and kayaking on the River Wye. Or you could explore the River Severn, and experience the famous Severn Bore. The historic cathedral city of Gloucester is close by, and there are many wonderful National Trust properties including Chedworth Roman Villa, Hidcote Gardens, Westbury Court Gardens and Haresfield Beacon.
