About this property

Rose Cottage is a beautiful 18th-century stone-built cottage nestled on the outskirts of Corsham in Wiltshire. A wonderful dwelling for groups of friends or a family of six, enjoying fantastic countryside surroundings and the Cotswolds AONB just paces away. Park-up in one off-road parking space, before making your way into the large hallway to discard any coats and shoes after your journey. Look forward to cooking up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen, with two electric ovens, a gas hob, and a dishwasher, ready to serve up at the dining table for six. If the weather is nice, why not enjoy your meal out in the rear garden where the little ones can play? As the evening cools, retire to the conservatory where you can still enjoy the last of the day's rays as you recount the day's adventures over your favourite tipple. Afterwards, retreat to the spacious sitting room, where you can relax on the plush seating and a enjoy a much-loved film on the TV, as the woodburning stove gently warms the space. Completing the ground floor is a handy utility room housing a washing machine and a cloakroom for your convenience. Climb the stairs up to the first floor, where you can indulge in a soothing soak in the bath or freshen up with a hot shower, as your towel warms on the nearby heated towel rail. After a day of adventure, choose from three well-appointed bedrooms to catch your rest in, a king-size which can be made up as a twin and en-suite bathroom, featuring a double basin and a separate shower, and two king-size bedrooms, all with plenty of storage for your belongings. Add a touch of character to your next Wiltshire escape with a stay at Rose Cottage. Note: This property can be booked with Ref. 1101952, together sleeping up to eight guests.

Corsham, a charming little market town in North West Wiltshire, is only seven miles from Bath, the royal metropolis. Many of the town's limestone buildings have appeared in television shows and movies, including Poldark and The Suspicions of Mr. Whicher. The monthly market in the village is a popular place to shop. You should go to Corsham Court, which has an amazing art collection and Capability Brown-designed grounds, if you're nearby. From the Georgian terraces of Bath's Georgian architecture to the Roman Baths and abbey, there is something for everyone in this beautiful city that is both accessible and beautiful.

You have a plethora of options when it comes to where to eat and what to buy. Castle Combe, formerly voted England's most beautiful village, is just a short drive away from Lacock. Every season, Corsham offers a delightful, historic base from which to explore a wide range of attractions in this fascinating region.

We will definitely like to return to this property again. Janice was great and ensured the house felt like a home. Beds were comfy, Lounges were great, fire was fab, kitchen amaaazing. there really is nothing I could find fault with, a great place to spend time making memories and base to explore the beautiful surrounding area. Can't recommend more highly, if you are on the fence about booking this place, get off it and press 'book' - you won't regret it!

Comfortable , spacious , beautiful location and generally plush . Even had Sky tv , which is not mentioned . Janice was very kind too as I accidentally left a lot of marks on a wood burner stove by trying to dry walking boots . A microwave would be a useful addition for generally just warming things . Beautiful place .

We were very pleased with everything and the kind lady managing the cottage responded immediately to minor problems and sorted them out straight away. We would enjoy another visit.
