The pictures don't do justice to the size of the property. The views are ever changing due to the weather, you just can't help looking out. My, if you like birds and wildlife then you are in for a treat. Long Tailed Tits, Great Tits and Blue Tits. Robins, Goldfinches and the usual Wood Pigeons and Magpie. We were graced with one fleeting visit by a Bullfinch, what a treat you don't see many now. We had a Great Spotted Woodpecker a few times and a daily visit by a Pheasant. A few times we saw Roe deer crossing the track but on the last day we were up earlier and we saw one grazing the new shoots on the trees just beyond the parking and at the same time the Barn Owl was jumping about on the branches, we had seen him a couple of times before such a treat to watch him land on the box or jump up out of his box. Finally a Hare came past as well. What a treat to see all of these birds and animals just from sitting at the table. Thank you for the treats, we didn't meet Steve but we did see him drive past.

We loved the fact she just left us to get on with our stay as they're some hosts that are always making themselves known they are there. The place itself was beautiful and warm and cosy and it really did feel like home away from home. The hot tub was amazing we used it both night we was there and after our travel to there and the stressful Saturday morning we had, having to replace 2 tyres on the car, it was just what we needed to unwind and de-stress. We 100% recommend this place and will most certainly be booking again for some time in near future.
