Nearby is the exciting Stockeld Park, a manor house with a maze to explore and woodlands to take a stroll around. Within a 15-minute drive is the larger town of Harrogate, where you can relax in the Turkish Baths, explore around the colourful Valley Gardens or visit Royal Pump Room museum which explores Harrogate’s story as a spa town. First mentioned in the Domesday book in 1086, the village of Spofforth is a delightful village set in North Yorkshire. Within the town you will find a number of small businesses, two pubs, a church, a cricket club and a snooker club. Places of interest include the Spofforth castle which was once the home of the Percy family, the Angel House which once hid Roman Catholic priests from the authorities and the War Memorial to the residents who gave their lives for their country.

no expense has been spared in the decoration and comfort . it is somewhere that you could move into and live no problem at all. a excellent property. will book again.

Peaceful even though it's on a working farm. We saw the red kites in the sky most days and was lovely to watch them. The cottage was very comfortable and we both slept well. I would ask for some milk/teabags/coffee to be in the cottage on arrival but otherwise everything was amazing, thank you.

It was always warm in the cottage, this is due to the biomass heating in the rooms. There is a very good village shop and a very large supermarket about 2 miles away. We used both. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Extremely relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
