The nearby village of Snaiton offers pubs serving food and an award-winning restaurant or take the drive to Thornton-Le-Dale and find a wider selection of amenities, including a well-stocked convenience store and the charming Lavenders Tea Rooms where you can pick-up a sweet treat whether you are dining in or taking away. Nearby, in the town of Pickering, you can visit a magnificent castle from the 13th century and ride a vintage steam train along the North Yorkshire Moors for 18 miles while taking in the stunning landscape.
