Aberdour Silver Sands Beach is a Blue Flag Awarded sandy beach, 13 miles away, with lifeguard covered swimming conditions in high season, a great play area and even a seasonal bouncy castle! There are plenty golf courses to choose from in the area and St Andrews is approx. 25 miles away. Edinburgh is under an hour away by car or why not use the direct train service from Kirkcaldy. Trossachs and Stirling are also nearby. Cluny Clays is under 2 miles away and offers clay pigeon shooting, a driving range, and many other outdoor activities. While Glenrothes and the Fife Retail Park are just 3 miles away and are ideal for some retail therapy. As you enter the house you will find the lounge off the hallway with open fire, TV, DVD and hi fi. From the lounge there is a small library and sun lounge with views across the garden. There is also a formal dining room should you wish to prepare a meal for the whole family and catch up around the traditional table. The Kitchen is bright and spacious with electric oven, fridge/freezer and microwave. Heading up the staircase to the first floor there is a double bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms all have views over the garden and open countryside. There is a shower room on the landing with WC. The large enclosed garden with lawns and shrubs is surrounded by open countryside and the fields are occupied with horses from the local equestrian centre.
