We had an absolutely fabulous holiday again. Thank you Sue and Dai for being the perfect hosts and also for the lovely welcoming package it was much appreciated . The Bungalow is perfect in every way, and suits everybody regardless to what you can or can’t do. It has a lovely garden with plenty of beautiful birds, woodpecker included and a cheeky squirrel. Also a lovely view of Cilgerran castle from the garden. Very peaceful and only a five minute walk to the shop/post office. We went to Aberystwyth this time which only took 50 minutes by car, also New Quay is only 30 minutes away, also Fishguard and Goodwick just 30 minutes away. In Goodwick the Ferries come in and go out to Ireland. Nice place called The Shack there where you can have a drink and food with good view of the Ferries. We also revisited Mwnt 15 minutes away. There is a lovely coastal walk from Aberporth to Tresaith and a nice pub at the end that does very nice food. We would highly recommend Avalon it is perfectly situated for going out and about or just having a quite relaxing break Thanks again Sue and Dai, it was amazing.

.. it feels like we are going home when we go there. Dai and Sue are perfect hosts and supply a very nice welcome pack. We have been to Avalon now 3 times (November, June/July and March). We have already booked again for next April/May but we may even go back sooner. A very relaxing time interspersed with finding new places to visit. Thank you Dai and Sue x

A generous welcome pack on arrival which was a kind and welcome gesture. Fantastic birdlife in the garden with bird feeders replenished during our stay. Kitchen very well equipped for self catering. Plenty of heating and hot water with easy to use systems. Lovely walks from the house down by the river and up to the small castle. A great base for exploring the Cardigan area. Would definitely recommend.
