3 holiday lets sleeping from 4 to 8

3 beautiful, traditional barns set on a working farm and surrounded by the glorious countryside of the Chiltern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Each barn has been tastefully converted to combine both comfort and character.

Harvest Barn - sleeps 8
A charming, picturesque old barn, skilfully converted so that the building retains plenty of character. Think fabulous vaulted ceilings, cool flagstones, thick wooden beams and beautiful oak floorboards. The Harvest Barn has a minimum booking of 4 nights.

The downstairs living area comprises of a generous, flagstoned living/ dining area with wood burner, deep comfy sofas and a farmhouse style dining table. The fully equipped kitchen hosts a washer dryer and dishwasher. Downstairs you will find the two twin bedrooms and a family bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms boasting kingsize beds with traditional iron bedsteads. There is a shared bathroom with a bath.

The Stables - sleeps 4
The quintessential cosy cottage… The Stables provides single level accommodation for four, with 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. An open plan living area incorporates the kitchen and welcoming living room. The wood effect burner in the fireplace gives plenty of atmosphere. A romantic double bedroom has an original French bed while the twin room accommodates two attractive iron bedsteads. The bathroom has a separate shower cubicle (no bath). The Stables has a minimum booking of 2 nights.

The Stys - sleeps 4
A lovely conversion also offering single storey accommodation. Again, traditional materials give testament to the building’s age and character. The living area is open plan while the main bedroom is a twin, with attractive iron bedsteads. The second bedroom has an antique French double bed. There is an attractive shared bathroom with shower (no bath). The Stys has a minimum booking of 2 nights.

Located between Oxford and London, the Chilterns are 324 square miles of gentle undulating countryside, crisscrossed by footpaths, cycle trails and bridleways - an open invitation to explore by foot, bike or horse.

There are plenty of great country pubs and restaurants to discover as well as historic market towns, idyllic villages and grand country houses. Follow the steps of Inspector Barnaby and track down the many Midsomer Murders locations across the Chilterns.

Families will enjoy the nearby quality attractions at Whipsnade Zoo, Thorpe Park, Legoland and Harry Potter World. Head to Wendover Woods for woodland walks, cycle trails, play area and Go Ape Tree Top Adventure. Nearby Aston Hill Bike Park provides plenty of mountain bike thrills.

The buzz and bustle of London is less than an hour away by train, while to the west lie the dreaming spires of Oxford, also within easy reach.

Dogs are allowed.
