Situated on the Staffordshire/Cheshire border close to the southern Peak District in a rural location.

Within walking distance of an excellent traditional country pub with real ales, a good selection of wines and delicious home-cooked food.

Cosy Nook is detached and set in its own garden.

It has a twin bedroom with comfortable beds, luxury bedding and ample storage space. It also has a small TV with Sky channels.

The lounge/diner has a beamed ceiling, woodblock floor and a cast iron stove which makes the room very cosy but is hassle free as it is gas and remote controlled There is Sky tv, a DVD player, a hifi, plenty of books, cds, DVDs and a selection of games. There is a landline phone.

The solid oak fitted kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, electric full-size oven, four ring gas hob, washer/dryer, fridge freezer, full size dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, slow cooker, food processor and Tassimo coffee maker. There is ample quality cutlery, pots and pans, fine china etc.

The spacious bathroom has an over/bath shower.

All bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided as are adult bathrobes, toiletries and household cleaning materials etc.

FREE WI-FI

The fully enclosed and fenced garden is mainly lawn with shrubs and flowerbeds. There is a BBQ and plenty of outdoor furniture including seating underneath a vine-covered arbour. There is a shed for the sole use of guests.

Parking is off road near to the cottage.

Cosy Nook is gas central heated and double-glazed.

There are walks close by, long or short, National Trust properties etc not too far away. There are specialist museums and places of interest within a twenty mile radius, Buxton, Ashbourne, Alton Towers, Bakewell, The Potteries are not far away.

Price information

195 to 345 per week. Minimum stay one week Saturday to Saturday
