Ta Mill House: Situated in a secluded rural hideaway of cottages and lodges in North Cornwall, this 16th Century stunning stone and slate house is surrounded by countryside in an area of outstanding natural beauty. With the Tors of Bodmin Moor on the horizon and the North Cornish coast within 8 miles it is perfect for exploring Devon and Cornwall.

This spacious property has 4 beautifully decorated bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms so a wonderfully civilised house for a group of friends or family. Dine in the large dining room which is linked to the fully equipped kitchen and make the most of the range cooker and american style fridge freezer as you conjure up a meal between you or maybe hire a chef from our recommended list.

The spacious lounge is another great place to relax and socialise with leather sofas and a cosy wood burner. With full central heating it is as welcoming in Winter as Summer. The walled garden has a very sheltered patio area which is frequented for bbqs or just drinks as the sun goes down.

Dairy cottage: A 'shippon' in years gone by, Dairy cottage is a beautifully renovated barn which is equipped with modern luxuries yet maintaining original features such as exposed stone walls, beams and arrow slot windows. Decorated to a high 4 star standard, this 2 bedroom cottage has a real ‘WOW’ factor. With under floor heating your feet will stay warm on the stone tiled flooring. The living area has a floor to ceiling glazed south facing aspect looking onto a stone patio so you can enjoy the afternoon sunshine. In addition this cottage has an M2 rating with the National Accessible Scheme and so is suitable for mobility impaired guests. Accommodation consists of a double bedroom with kingsize bed, a very spacious twin room with ample room for a put-u-up or 2 plus a walk in shower room. The open plan living area gives plenty of room for relaxing or dining and all the accommodation is on one floor.

Hayloft cottage: This is a luxury 4 star stone and slate cottage that can be reached via stone and granite steps on the outside of this stunning property. Once you are inside the cottage is all on one level and fully carpeted. The open plan kitchen/ living area has 2 leather double sofas and the fully fitted kitchen has a solid beech worktop. The shower room is fully tiled and the bedroom boasts a 5 foot leather bed with a fold down chair for an extra one! This spacious bedroom has plenty of room for a cot if need. Although it is fully centrally heated you have the option of a contura wood burner which can be a very romantic touch on those cooler evenings.

Olde Granary: This cottage is on the first floor of a converted barn but accessible through wooden french doors that lead into the bedroom with a 5 foot bed. A beautiful 4 star, luxury cottage with shaker style kitchen and leather corner sofa in the living room. The contura wood burner that sits on the slate hearth is a lovely feature and a favourite for couples to snuggle up to. There is a very spacious bathroom with a shower over the P shaped bath. With exposed beams and original arrow slot windows this cottage combines modern luxuries with classic features. Outside you will find a patio area and a private garden where you can enjoy breakfast 'al fresco'.

Millers cottage: Be delighted by this 2 storey stone and slate cottage which has slate floor in the open beamed living area and fabulous underfloor heating. This luxury cottage with modern facilities offers couples a perfect retreat in a countryside setting. Light the contura wood burner and relax. A wooden staircase leads to a very spacious bedroom with a 5 foot leather bed and a clik clak sofa for a toddler or young child. There is a sky light with a built in blind so you can glimpse the stars at night.

Pump cottage: With its feature inglenook fireplace this cottage has the cosiest wood burner to enjoy on those chilly wintry evenings. It has a tiled floor downstairs and we welcome pets in this lovely cottage. Pump cottage is situated at the rear of Ta Mill House and was the original old kitchen of this property. Upstairs you will find a shower room and a bedroom with sloping ceilings and exposed beams. Look out the window to the orchard where you may well spot ewes and lambs in the Spring.

Forge: Perfect for the larger family or family with grandparents, this 3 bedroom olde worlde cottage boasts original exposed beams and sloping ceilings upstairs. There is a bathroom downstairs with a shower over the bath and a separate wc upstairs. One large double bedroom plus a second double leading through to a room with 3 singles.

The nearby coastline gives visitors a wealth of places to see including the dramatic Tintagel castle, the pretty harbour at Boscastle or the seaside town of Bude not to mention the plethora of beaches and coves.

If you want to just relax on site you can enjoy the nature trail with wildlife ponds, our games room and our pitch 'n' putt. For something more relaxing the hot tub is a great place to unwind with friends so Ta Mill really does offer something for everyone.

From less than £122 for a weekend break for 2 people up to £1650 per week in August for a 4 bedroom Ta Mill House is Summer. You can hire Ta Mill accommodation any time of year.
