What’s not to like about the party house that has everything you need for a celebration away with friends and family? First, it’s located in the Peak District National Park, in the village of Tideswell, so is easy to get to from all parts of the UK. Second, it sleeps up to 20 people in 8 bedrooms and you can all dine together around the same huge table. Third, it is 200 metres from a warm and welcoming village pub (the Horse & Jockey) with great food and real ale. But there’s more! Courtyard Barn also has a dedicated Games Room with table football, table tennis, a dance floor, streaming internet TV – and a beer fridge!

This huge barn conversion has 8 bedrooms, 2 kitchens, 4 bathrooms and a room for drying clothes - plus an open-plan dining room, enough room for at least 20 adults to eat around the same table - then relax by the log burner stove.

Outside, the garden has great views over Tideswell village. Turn round and in the other direction are open fields and sheep . And what better place to end your day than in the Horse & Jockey pub over the road. Next morning, they offer a full English Breakfast, only £6 per head).

‘We recently booked out the Courtyard Barn for a long weekend in July and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves! The property itself was easy to find and located in a small village with local stores and pubs within easy walking distance. The accommodation on offer was great with generous sized rooms and plenty of space for everyone to relax as well as socialise. The kitchen was fantastic and well stocked for large group cooking (Which I find sometimes to be a problem) it had everything in abundance and was well looked after. Would definitely recommend this venue for a large group booking of people who like the country location and relish the small village atmosphere’
