Two holiday lets sleeping 2 and 5

Come and enjoy a stay in one of our stone cottages and relax surrounded by beautiful countryside. We are on the eastern edge of The Peak District National Park, and a 20 minute drive from the wonders of Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Hardwick Hall and Bolsover Castle. Chesterfield is a 10 minute drive and Sheffield 30 minutes. Take a walk from the door, or enjoy a drink or meal at The Gate Inn, just across the road. BOTH COTTAGES HAVE VISIT ENGLAND 4 STAR AWARD.

The cottages have gas central heating. double glazing and wall insulation, so are a good choice for out-of-season breaks.

The 2 cottages adjoin and are a barn conversion, carried out by local craftsmen to retain original features but offer the comforts of modern living.

THE ROBINS Downstairs has a lounge/diner, well-equipped kitchen, bathroom (bath and shower) and upstairs one large bedroom with a kingsize bed and space for a child's bed/cot or both. There is a sofabed in the lounge. Complimentary laundry facilities are available.

THE SWALLOWS. Downstairs there is a lounge, well-equipped kitchen, separate dining room and a single bedroom. There is no bathroom downstairs. Upstairs there is a double ensuite bedroom and a twin ensuite. They are separated by the stairs so give added privacy. The kitchen is well-equipped and includes washing machine and dishwasher. There is a dryer in a separate cupboard.

There is a patio and barbecue, large garden with play equipment for young children. From the garden guests can enjoy fabulous views of the surrounding countryside, including the Linacre Valley.

Treat yourself to breakfast at our farmhouse (Cowclose Farm B & B). There is a charge for breakfast. We have Visit Britain Breakfast Award, and specialise in using local and homegrown produce.
