5 holiday lets sleeping from 2 to 6Three Gates is a converted 17th Century farm, with five 4 star holiday cottages, set in the beautiful East Devon countryside, only 15 minutes drive from the M5 (J27). We have two acres of grounds, a super 33ft indoor swimming pool, sauna, fitness room, children's play areas, 12 ft trampoline and games rooms. All cottages are equipped with central heating, dishwashers, flat screen TVs, DVD players and free WiFi. Our family friendly cottages can accommodate up to 22 people. Three Gates Farm is easy to get to, only 15 minutes' drive from the M5 (J27) and Tiverton Parkway railway station (two hours to Paddington). We're just outside Huntsham village, three miles from the popular town of Bampton, which has a range of excellent pubs, restaurants, cafes and local shops and six miles from the market town of Tiverton. We are within easy reach of the beaches of the North and South coasts (about 40 minutes' drive to either coast) as well as Exmoor and Dartmoor.
We are pet-friendly and welcome well behaved dogs.
Plenty to do in the area including cycling along the Grand Western Canal, pony trekking on Exmoor, fossil hunting on the Jurassic Coast, sailing on Wimbleball lake, exploring the sandy beaches of Exmouth or Dawlish to the South or Minehead, Croyde and Saunton to the North.
Other attractions include National Trust properties of Knightshayes, Killerton and Dunster Castle, family fun at the World of Country Life, The Big Sheep, Powderham Castle, Crealy Adventure Park or the Devonshire Railway Centre.
If you enjoy pretty gardens, you could visit Escot, Bicton Park, RHS Garden Rosemoor or Hestercombe. There are plenty of attractive towns and villages to visit, where you can indulge in a Devon cream tea, such as Topsham, Beer, Sidmouth, Porlock, Lynton and Lynmouth. Exeter is well worth a visit for its cathedral, quays and shops.
