A picturesque rural retreat, set within 80 acres of garden and woodland in one of Exmoor’s most beautiful valleys. Kittitoe Lodge is a spacious holiday cottage boasting a 30ft indoor heated swimming pool, family sized hot tub and Jacuzzi. Less than 4 miles from the dramatic coastline of north Devon, this charming Exmoor cottage is the perfect location for coast and country holidays with friends and family.

The ground floor is spacious and open plan, with a living /dining / kitchen area with cosy log fire, dramatic, high vaulted ceiling and chandelier. You will find a colour TV with Sky, DVD/video player, CD music centre and a pool table.

The kitchen area is fully equipped with all the modern conveniences including electric cooker, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, and microwave.

A ground floor family bedroom provides a double bed, bunk beds and there is a separate bathroom (Shower and W/C). A wrought iron spiral staircase leads up to the master double bedroom with brass bed and upper reception area.

A double sofa bed in the living area provides extra sleeping accommodation.

Outside you will find a suntrap patio with garden furniture and barbecue. There is a private lawned area with a pond and a stream running through the grounds. The trampoline is always a popular pastime with the children.

The Heddon Valley is one of the jewels of Exmoor, a deep forested clough offering wonderful riverside walks in woods teeming with deer. The famous Hunter’s Inn is a pleasant walk down the valley and makes a rewarding pit stop. The coastal footpath offers some truly spectacular scenery, with steep cliffs, rocky coves and on a clear day, views over the Bristol Channel to Wales.

Don’t miss the chance to take to the saddle and explore this stunning landscape. Riding opportunities abound – whether you choose to trek across the high moor or amble through the wooded bridlepaths, there is something for the novice and the seasoned rider alike.

For seaside fun, head to the sandy expanses of Woolacombe, Putsborough, Croyde or Saunton . These excellent beaches cater for both surfers and sand castle aficionados.

A day trip to Lundy Island makes for a fascinating visit. Once the haunt of Barbary pirates (yes really), the island is now a haven for wildlife. The charming seaside towns of Ilfracombe, Lynmouth, Bideford and Clovelly all offer a variety of boat trips – what better way to explore the c oast?

There are some great family attractions with Milky Way Adventure Theme Park, Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, Exmoor Zoo and Watermouth Castle nearby. History lovers will enjoy Arlington Court, Hartland Abbey and Dunster Castle.
