A warm welcome to Hendersyde, our family farm, which lies between The River Tweed and Eden Water, just 2 miles down stream from the attractive market town of Kelso, in the heart of The Scottish Borders.
Millsyde, is a beautifully furnished contemporary home sleeping up to 6 people.
The two, charming, semi-detached, traditional farm cottages – sleep 2-4.
THE FARM COTTAGES have stunning views from their peaceful position, in the middle of the farm. Looking south over The River Tweed to The Cheviot Hills in Northumberland National Park, you can see for miles, in all directions!
Peace & quiet, quality & comfort, with a warm welcome & helping hand - should you need it - are all a given!
Each cottage has a simple layout, the back porch leads into the well equipped kitchen (all are new in the last 5 years).
The downstairs bath room, sitting room & garden door lead off the hall.
Upstairs are a twin and double bed room.
Popular with couples, we offer a couple's discount on all bookings.
The secluded south facing gardens are a lovely place to relax with just the sounds of the countryside for company!
Thick walls & insulation, new front & back doors, central heating and cosy sitting room fires mean the cottages are cosy throughout the year.
Linen, towels, tea towels, bath mats, cleaning products, fuel, electricity and Wi-Fi are all included in the price.
Well behaved dogs are welcome in West Cottage, please see our terms and conditions. There is £20 charge per dog.
MILLSYDE has lots of soothing space for up to six people, all on one level..
Tucked up in a thick blanket of wool insulation, with central heating, wood-burner, under floor heating and solar panels, Millsyde is cosy & comfortable through-out the year and whatever the weather!
There is room to gather in the sociable, well equipped kitchen/dining room, or you can find a quiet corner in the sitting room, or outside in the garden.
The spacious king-size master bed room has an ensuite shower room.
The two, double or twin, bedrooms share the family bath room, with its double-ended bath & double headed shower.
Well behaved dogs and considerate owners are very welcome. The scullery has room for a dog's bed, the back yard & boot room at the back of the garage, provide space to dry if they are muddy. We ask that dogs are kept in the tiled area of the house - for further information please have a look at the letting agreement on our Hendersyde web site.
Outside the garden wraps round the house. The secure double garage offers under-cover space for table-tennis.
