Three delightful holiday cottages in a stunning Highland location, half a mile from the village of Laggan in the Cairngorms National Park.

Situated in an elevated position on a hill farm, the cottages enjoy spectacular views over the valley to the hills. The beauty of Laggan strath has not gone unnoticed, much of the filming for TV’s popular “Monarch of the Glen” took place in the area.

The National Park offers truly magnificent scenery; high mountains, wild glens, and tranquil lochs and is a haven for wildlife. For those who love the outdoors, there is plenty to do. Fishing, canoeing, horse riding, and of course walking and climbing are all close by. Snow sports enthusiasts can visit the ski slopes of Cairngorm and the Nevis ranges. Laggan Wolftrax trail centre is almost on our doorstep, deservedly popular and offers some of the best mountain biking in Scotland.

Distillery tours are a popular choice, and history buffs will find that Urquhart Castle and the Highland Folk Museum at Newtonmore make for a fascinating day out.

Bail Nan Cnoc is an attractive, architect designed farmhouse sleeping 6. Its south facing, elevated position ensures that the property is bathed with light, catching the summer sun and maximising winter daylight.

Bright and spacious, this 3* modern farmhouse has full central heating, and double glazing. A great place to stay, summer or winter.

The living area is open plan with living room, large kitchen/diner and a useful back kitchen/utility area. There is a cosy aga in the beamed kitchen, while the dining area has wonderful views.

The living room has an open fire, perfect for winter evenings. It can be closed off from the rest of the living area via wooden double doors. You can relax in front of Sky (family package) and WiFi is also available.

Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms; one spacious master bedroom with kingsize bed, one double and one twin.

The upstairs bathroom boasts a fabulous, large cast iron bath, perfect for relaxing in after a day in the hills.

Next to the property lies Potters Cabin, for the exclusive use of guests staying at Bail nan Cnoc. Sleeping 4, this is perfect for members of the group needing a little more space.

These appealing stone built cottages combine all the charm of traditional workmanship with modern comfort and top environmental credentials.

The cottages have been renovated with energy efficiency and sustainability as a prime concern, and they boast their very own energy source.

The layout and style of the cottages is very similar, both benefitting from light, bright modern interiors. Guests needing easy access might prefer Allt na Criche, which has a wet room rather than a traditional bathroom..

The cottages each offer:
