Two holiday lets sleeping 4 and 12

Easter Duiar was originally a gamekeeper's cottage and has been extended to provide beautiful self-catering accommodation in Speyside for 2 to 12 guests. Set in the heart of Speyside - one of the most lovely parts of Scotland, this wonderful highland retreat is on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park. It is also only 8 miles from Grantown-on-Spey which makes it an ideal base for those wishing to explore the Highlands and the coastline of the Moray Firth.

There are many outdoor pursuits to be found nearby including windsurfing, canoeing, skiing, golf, quad biking, horse riding and of course, walking or cycling. There are also many castles, gardens, potteries and distilleries within easy reach. Less than 1 hour's drive away there are some stunning sandy beaches and colourful harbours where dolphins and porpoises can sometimes be seen off the coast. At Easter Duiar itself, roe deer, red squirrels, numerous birds of prey and the odd stoat can often be seen.

The Cottage sleeps up to 10 plus 2 guests in 2 double bedrooms and 3 twin bedrooms plus The Bothy which sleeps up to 4 if required. This can only be let in conjunction with the cottage.

Downstairs is a lovely sun lounge with windows on 3 sides, log burning stove and magnificent views of the valley beyond. This room features comfortable seating with a log burning stove and a sizeable dining table with seating for up to 12 guests. The main living room is lovely and cosy with a log fire, feature stone wall and window to the front looking out over the valley. Both rooms have CD, TV and full Sky Plus with DVD and video available in the lounge. The kitchen is light and airy with views of the Spey Valley and garden and a table seating up to 8 guests. Most appliances are provided including, washing machine/tumble dryer, dishwasher, oven, hob, fridge, freezer and microwave. Also downstairs are two of the bedrooms - a double with ensuite shower-room and a bedroom with adult bunk beds. There is a family bathroom with bath and shower over bath and the front porch which is a wonderful spot to watch the sunset with a 'wee dram'.

Upstairs is the main bedroom which features a balcony overlooking the garden, a desk an en-suite shower room and a sofa bed for one - a separate camp bed is available so that a family of 4 can stay. There is also a twin bedroom, another smaller twin bedroom and a separate toilet on this level.
