4 holiday lets sleeping from 1 to 7

On the edge of the famous Peak District, set within a 700 acre working dairy farm these 17th century Grade II listed cottages combine traditional character and modern convenience to provide luxurious self-catering accommodation. 5 Star Gold as approved by the English Tourist Board.

Each cottage is attractively furnished to a high standard, with exposed beams and stonework retaining much of the original character. Fully equipped, each cottage has under-floor heating and all the comforts of home (The Farmhouse has conventional heating), creating a cosy and relaxing atmosphere for your holiday.

In an aim to lessen our carbon footprint, in November 2013, we converted to wood fuelled heating by installing a biomass boiler. This brings huge benefits to our cottages in the form of piping hot water, high pressure showers and the continued luxury of underfloor heating (conventional in Farmhouse) while at the same time being environmentally friendly.

Situated in an elevated position, the cottages enjoy fabulous panoramic views over the Peak District. A large garden with outdoor seating and barbeque facilities provides a picturesque setting to unwind, ideal for al fresco dining in the summer months. Our Finnish Barbeque House is ideal for all year round dining. Made out of the finest red wood and with a central barbeque it is a wonderful way to cook in the evenings. It seats 12 people comfortably.

We are excited to announce that our luxury holiday cottages now has a new dimension with the opening of a stunning day spa in 2016

It features five different luxurious thermal experiences designed to revitalise and rejuvenate, each delivering an enticing combination of heat, light, humidity and fragrance.

Our spa has the UKs only rustic sauna with picturesque countryside views, a Rasul mud room, a Himalayan Sauna, Massage foot spas, a Herbal sauna, Aromatherapy steam room and a Tropical experience shower as well as an outdoor area with wood fired hot tub and outdoor furniture.

By joining forces with TEMPLE SPA the world-renowned skin and body care, aromatherapy and spa treatments expert, our therapists have been trained to deliver dozens of fabulous revitalising treatments and therapies using Temple Spas divine products.  We provide top to toe pampering for girls and guys, from facials and manicures to pedicures and massage.

The Spa is here to be enjoyed by residents in our cottages and by day visitors.  You can book a treatment, a half-day session just to use the spa facilities, or book for unlimited use during your stay.

Ideally located if you love the outdoors, the cottages overlook the Trans Pennine Trail and are less than an hours drive from Hathersage, the centre of Peak District walking country. Well behaved dogs are welcome.

Our outdoor hot tub set in our picturesque gardens is a Canadian Arctic Spa and can seat up to six people comfortably. It has 4 pumps and 75 jets for a truly invigorating experience. With Northern Lights, installed, colour can be changed at the touch of a button with rainbow patterns enhancing your spa experience.

All prices include a welcome hamper*, duvets, bed linen, towels and all heating and lighting. cots and high chairs can be provided as well as non allergenic bedding.
