Single holiday let sleeping up to 4 guestsMead Cottage is a gem, a beautiful Cotswold honey coloured stone cottage, sleeping up to 4 guests, tucked away in a peaceful spot in the stunning grounds of the 5 Star Manor House Hotel, though privately owned. The hotel and village pubs are just a couple of minutes walk from the cottage and the nearest shop is a mile and a half away.
The open plan living area is light and airy with rugs, sofas and leather chairs to relax in and two fireplaces to snuggle up to on those chillier nights, a Scandinavian log burner in the old inglenook, a large antique grate in the other. The kitchen offers a fridge, oven, hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave and freezer. There are two bedrooms, one has an open plan en suite bathroom, with dressing room on the mezzanine above. The other has a queen size bed which unzips to two generous twins. The bathroom has a Colossus walk in shower, free-standing bath and double basins set on Italian chocolate granite, plus heated floors again for warm toes on chilly mornings.
Eat al fresco in the sunny, terraced garden with comfortable garden furniture or relax and enjoy an early evening drink. You could also book a table at the Michellin starred Bybrook restaurant in the Manor House Hotel, if you fancy a treat.
