BILLY'S BOTHY, our beautiful 5 star self catering cottage (gold award 2011/12) is centrally located in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales edging the magnificent Peak District National Park. A perfect base from which to explore all the many attractions and activities to offer in this spectacular county. The Bothy sits amidst a peaceful rural setting within the 10 acre grounds of our grade II listed farmhouse -just over 1 mile from the historic market town of Ashbourne. We are surrounded by nature, with open fields, hedgerows and a small lake, donkeys, cattle and chickens and an abundance of wildlife are around you, perfect for relaxing or exploring.

Billys Bothy is suitable for large groups, families, birthdays and hen parties are all welcome.

This unusual Peak District self catering cottage has 3 ground floor bedrooms, two double and one twin all with en-suite shower rooms. These floors have under floor heating and heated towel rails keeping them snug all year around. On the first floor are two more double bedrooms one with en-suite shower and the other with an en suite bathroom. The total sleeping capacity of Billys Bothy is for 10 in actual full sized beds plus 2 in the optional 6th bedroom. In the lounge is a double quality bed settee, with private entrance to shared en-suite bathroom. There are two single bed chairs within the bedrooms giving a total sleeping capacity of 10+ 4 + 2 travel cots. There is an option of a 6th externally adjoining twin bedroom giving a sleeping capacity of 16 if required.

The bathrooms are beautifully fitted with chrome fixtures and fittings adding a touch of class and luxury to these exquisite rooms. The bedrooms are furnished with hand made old pine furniture, brass and cast iron beds add character to this beautiful cottage.

The spacious lounge with cosy log burning stove is on the 1st floor and opens out onto a patio with cottage garden Patio furniture and BBQ are provided for your relaxation and entertainment. The cottage has full oil central heating throughout. There are external doors on all floor levels and visitors who are not so good on their legs can access the cottage through the patio and lounge area, which means they never have to go on the lower level as there are 2 bedrooms, the lounge, kitchen and dining room all on this floor.

The lounge and patio area look over fields peacefully grazed by sheep and cattle and is totally private from the main house of Offcote Grange. The lounge has a large wide screen LCD smart TV with freeview. also DVD, CD player and IPOD dock. Wi Fi is provided in all rooms. A cosy log stove is in the lounge to compliment the oil central heating.

The dining room is a delight for those intimate meals with friends and family, our large dining table will comfortably seat 12 and 16 with a squeeze. The furniture is all hand made in old pine to compliment our period cottage. A high chair is provided for our younger guests. For those of you wanting a little pampering, meals can be arranged on request.

The galleried kitchen is extremely well equipped and perfect for all catering with a full electric cooker, microwave, slow cooker, dishwasher, tumble drier, washer, large fridge freezer and much more.

Below is our sauna room large enough for up to 6 people. It is 'wired for sound' and you can enjoy your favourite music whilst relaxing. Pampering with a choice of Reflexology, Massage, Hand and Nail treatments and Pedicures can all be arranged on request. Notice for these is required and pre booking is advised.

A hearing device is now available to assist with your enjoyment of TV and music. Please request this before arriving in order that it can be fully charged for use. We provide hair dryers in all rooms.

There is a patio area with orchard directly outside the lounge. A gas BBQ and hardwood patio furniture is provided. We have ample private off road car parking.

HILLSIDE CROFT, our second large luxury self catering cottage, sleeps from 14 up to 16 people( 2 single sofa beds in bedrooms). This beautiful cottage sits in 6 acres of private garden and pastureland in a lovely peaceful location close to Carsington Water and just a 10 minute walk into the local village which has two pubs serving food. There are 5 comfortable bedrooms, four of which are double and one twin giving sleeping capacity for 10. Within these rooms are 4 further single beds and 2 single bed chairs giving total sleeping for 16 if required.

We provide 2 travel cots and one high chair. All bedrooms at this luxury self catering holiday cottage are furnished to a high standard with hand made antique pine furniture and co-ordinated furnishings. The floors are a mix of carpets, oak, tiled and stone floors lending character and warmth to this lovely cottage. This cosy sandstone cottage is of grade II listing and is full of character with a wealth of heavy oak beams in all rooms, pretty stone mullioned and leaded windows and a wealth of revealed timber and stonework, with a magnificent inglenook fireplace in the dining room. Cosy log stoves in lounge and dining rooms.

The Master bedroom is en suite, with power shower, WC and wash basin. All rooms are airy and spacious with many attractive features and all overlook the beautiful gardens.

Two of the bedrooms at Hillside Croft are on the first floor a further 3 are on the second floor. The stairs between floors are very shallow making them easily climbed by both children and the elderly.

A fabulous master bathroom located on the 1st floor has a large Victorian style roll topped bath with bath shower mixer. There is a separate walk in power shower, WC and washbasin. Shaving sockets are provided in both bathrooms. A potty and WC stand for children are provided. Hair dryers are provided in all rooms. Teo bedrooms have LCD tv's.

The lounge is separate to the dining room and both have magnificent oak beamed ceilings and warm log burning stoves. In the lounge are 3 comfortable sofa's and 1 chair for cosy evenings in with friends and family, a TV with teletext, video recorder , IPOD dock and DVD player are provided for your entertainment. The cottage has full oil central heating throughout.

Our beautiful dining room has a large farmhouse table seating 10 to 12 with ease, a large chicken coop dresser and church pew add elegant furnishings to this room. The log burner is set under the heavy beam of an impressive inglenook fireplace.

Downstairs is a 3rd washroom with WC and washbasin.

Our farmhouse kitchen is a delight with underfloor heating ideal for drying those walking boots. There are antique hand made pine kitchen units with a double French pottery sink set in tiled and granite worktops. The windows overlook the beautiful cottage gardens, mint, lemon balm, chives, blackcurrents and fruit trees have been planted for your use. An automatic washer, tumble drier, dishwasher, fridge and fridge freezer, microwave and full electric halogen cooker with double oven are provided. Smaller items include, electric hand mixer, iron and board,coffee maker, toaster, kettle , tape recorder and radio, CD player and radio, portable TV and hair drier.

A sheltered patio area with hardwood table and chairs, umberella, BBQ and chimera is at the rear of the cottage, bordering lawns and borders.

This lovely cottage has two well fenced pond in beautifully maintained gardens which are surrounded by fields, filled with birds and wildlife- wonderful to explore.

Childminding is available by arrangement. Meals can be provided by arrangement.. If you are requiring total relaxation then we can organise Pampering and relaxation therapies again these must be pre ordered. Wi Fi is provided. iPod docks provided.
