Brow Top holiday house is situated in The Lake District National Park, within walking distance of the popular tourist towns of Bowness and Windermere. The house sits on a hill and is laid out over 3 floors; the elevated position allows for wonderful views of Lake Windermere and the nearby fells.

The front door leads into the hallway and gives access to a cloaks cupboard and a games/store room with football table and other games and suitable for storing outdoor gear such as bicycles.

Stairs lead up to the open plan living /dining area. The living area has two sofas providing cosy seating for six arranged around a recessed electric flame/log effect fire, there are lovely views from the large bow window. A coffee table stores a selection of board games, there is a wall mounted TV/DVD/radio. The dining area has a table and chairs for six people and a large hatch through to the kitchen. The kitchen is well-equipped and fitted with wall and floor units and has good worktop space a sink and fridge freezer. There is an integrated electric oven and gas hob with extractor hood over and a separate microwave oven, a dishwasher, automatic washing machine and tumble dryer. The first floor shower room has a toilet, basin and shower enclosure.

Stairs from the living area lead to the second floor landing and the 3 bedrooms and bathroom. The master bedroom has a 5 FT king size bed, there is a vanity wash basin in this room. There is a bedroom with zip and link beds that can be arranged as twins or a super king, there are splendid views from this room. The third bedroom has a double bed and a fabulous outlook. The bathroom has a toilet, basin, and bath with shower over.

A sheltered patio area to the rear of the house has a feature barbecue and table and seating for six. There is a magnificent raised deck to the side of the property with stunning views and additional outdoor furniture. There is off-street parking for 2 vehicles. A car is not essential for a holiday at Brow Top, Windermere railway station is only 1.1 miles away and the area is well served with other forms of public transport including buses and boats.

In addition to the opportunities for outdoor pursuits offered by the lakes, hills and countryside of the National Park, there are a host of other attractions for all to enjoy. Within walking distance of Brow Top there is a great choice of places to eat and a wide variety of shops. There is a modernised traditional cinema (with Wurlitzer organ) and a theatre offering an annual season of events ranging from family shows to comedy nights. There are boats for hire, mini-golf and tennis. The range of bars, pubs and a nightclub may interest adult visitors. Families may enjoy the indoor and outdoor play areas and World of Beatrix Potter attraction.
