    Mrs Nicholls – 1 Dec 2018
"A handy supermarket and useful bus route into Chester were nearby. We were well looked after by thoughtful owners, many thanks for a very enjoyable week."
    Mrs Jenkinson – 1 Sep 2018
"15 - 20 minutes away from every place we visited. The cottage was spacious and well equipped. The only let down was that it’s looking tired in places (paint work mainly) and the cottage was as clean as we would like on arrival with two young children with us. We found broken glass under the sofa after hunting for a toy and numerous left items under the beds upstairs when again looking for dropped items. Attention to detail would make this cottage a fantastic place again Thank you for having us"
    Mrs Bailey – 1 Sep 2018
"The Wi-Fi was nonexistence even thought it stated that there was Wi-Fi. the owners seemed to be battling a problem with damp, which was a shame because the cottage was very well kitted out with most things you would need. A lovely welcome kit was waiting on our arrival. the beds were very comfortable and the shower one of the best. dealt with our problem of the Wi-Fi after no agreement was made with owners, and we informed them of the damp problem. If the Wi-Fi and damp are sorted then we would love to stay here again, I would just bring a large broom to remove the cobwebs and spiders."
    Mr Bennett – 1 Sep 2018
"The location was very good in a nice area in the village of Tarvin . The village locals were nice friendly people. The owner of the property lived adjacent to the cottage and was very welcoming and was always available if required. He was kind enough to have fresh bread, eggs, butter, juices, milk, tea, coffee etc. on our arrival. We very much enjoyed staying at the cottage ."
    Mrs Holbrow – 1 Sep 2018
"The welcome pack of food was lovely. Tarvin has a good local shop."

"The Cottage is beautiful and in a lovely location near to where we were visiting family. Everything we could need for our break was provided. Little extras like milk, bread and butter, eggs juice etc were all provided when we arrived and this was appreciated. Our Grandaughter had a few sleepovers while we were there and she absolutely loved it. Thank you Jonathon and Kirsty for a lovely stay. This cottage is ideally placed for motorway connections to the North and South and close to Chester and Snowdonia for those wishing to visit and I can highly recommend it."

"The only minor criticism was internet in last few days was not great. Overall, a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this cottage. The owners, Jonathan and Kirsty left a well produced informative package which was incredibly thoughtful. We all loved this holiday - grandparents, parents and grandchildren."
    Mrs Cordingley
"The cottage more than exceeded our expectations. Spacious rooms. 2 large bathrooms was an added bonus. Fully equipped to a very high standard. Cleanliness could not be faulted. Great location. Ideally situated for visiting Cheshire, North Wales and surrounding areas. Local amenities within walking distance. There were no problems so did not need to contact the owners during the stay, however they were very helpful beforehand. The bread milk etc. on arrival was a very nice touch, thank you. We are very lucky to have such a nice cottage in the village which we can highly recommend to anyone wishing to visit the area."

"Tarvin is just a few miles out of Chester and is very handy for the hills of Cheshire- Peckforton , Bickerton etc. The village itself is brilliant with a friendly small local pub and a bistro restaurant that is excellent and provides an “Early Bird” menu. We ate there four times in one week. The cottage itself is brilliant, spotless, and one of the best equipped I can ever recall. Mind you as above we ate out most of the time. The owner, Jonathan, could not have been more helpful and could you please thank him for me. Brian Harrop"

    Mrs Greig
"(We were made to feel so welcome in what is part of a family home - although totally separate.) It is extremely well-equipped, comfortably furnished and ideally located for visiting the surrounding Cheshire areas. One major plus point is having secure storage for bikes. It felt as if the owners had actually spent time living in the cottage and provided what was necessary for a successful break."
