Also nearby is the Camel Trail along 18 miles of disused railway line from Padstow to the foot of Bodmin Moor. Hendra is equal distance from the North and South coasts, ideal for surfing and sandcastles, water sports and walking, and is only 5 minutes from the A30. Bodmin and Wadebridge are the closest towns 6 miles away but a closer village shop in either Lanivet or Roche both 4 miles away. Plenty of storage for bikes and surfboards etc. St Austell – 10 miles, Padstow – 12 miles, Newquay – 15 miles, Lostwithiel – 12 miles
