This spacious semi-detached holiday chalet sits within the peaceful grounds of Honicombe Manor Holiday Park, set in the Tamar Valley, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
In a beautiful wooded setting, this property offers comfort throughout, a well-equipped kitchen in which to cook family meals with delicious Cornish produce and it is built in an upside down style to make the most of the far reaching views of open countryside from the first floor sunny balcony. Furnished in a rustic style with pine furniture and a country style kitchen, it will appeal to those seeking a spell in the countryside, yet with easy access to the Cornish coast. Leisure facilities are free of charge at Honicombe Holiday Park including indoor and outdoor heated pools. Also, family leisure access cards are provided for the nearby China Fleet Country Club, with facilities including swimming pool, sauna, badminton, and squash, all included within the membership provided - an excellent venue for a family day out, especially when wet!) just a half hour drive away (for full details see amenities section).
There are plentiful walks close by, plus just a couple of miles is the National Trust property of Cotehele; a beautiful estate by the River Tamar with woodland walks and formal gardens. For the less energetic, take a train from Gunnislake to Plymouth, enjoying the spectacular scenery of the Tamar valley as it passes over the Calstock viaduct on the way. After all this sightseeing, you can return to your lodge to relax and unwind.
The village of Gunnislake lies on the banks of the River Tamar. It has village pubs and a small selection of shops. The area is perfect for exploring Dartmoor, the south and north coast beaches and the attractions of Cornwall's far west.

Full family (2 adults and up to 4 children) leisure passes provided for China Fleet Country Club (cfcc) at Saltash providing access to swimming pool, relaxation area (sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi), badminton, tennis, squash and fitness suite, with 10% discount off restaurant prices and some Spa treatments.
