Gunnislake 2.5 miles. This wonderful, detached holiday home is situated on the Honnicombe Manor Holiday Park near Callington, in Cornwall. Offering bright, comfortable accommodation, with brilliant leisure facilities available on site, this lovely lodge is a great base for families, couples and friends exploring the border between Cornwall and Devon.
There is a spacious, social living space with a modern kitchen, a sitting area with patio doors leading onto the patio outside, and a dining table seating eight where everyone can dine together or enjoy a board game.
Two bedrooms are located on the ground floor; one room has a double bed, wardrobe and dresser, whilst the second room has twin beds. There is also a shower room downstairs, whilst upstairs is a bathroom with a corner bath and a further double and twin room. Whatever the weather, you can enjoy a relaxing dip in the hot tub after a long walk on Dartmouth, or a day on the beach! There are two on-site pools, tennis courts, a gym and a childrens play area, as well as excellent attractions nearby, meaning there is plenty to keep you occupied during your stay.
Pull on your walking boots and explore the Tamar Valley AONB, venture to the Dartmoor National Park, or take the short drive into the fun, vibrant city of Plymouth. The fabulous, bustling town of Looe can also be reached in under an hour, as can the Polperro Heritage Coast. Gunnislake is a rural village situated on the steep wooded banks of the River Tamar. Gunnislake offers pubs and shops, and at one end of the village there's the scenic Tamar Valley Railway, which provides regular services along the river bank to Plymouth. Gunnislake makes a great base with many places of Cornwall and Devon within reach.
