Experience - The Area...
A charming and sympathetically converted barn set in the heart of glorious Cornish countryside with fabulous views. Little Oak Barn provides comfortable, spacious and well-appointed accommodation for two and is conveniently located for accessing both the North and South coasts of the County.
The village of St Neot is just over three miles from Little Oak Barn and has a convenience store, post office and pub which serves food throughout the day and evening. The Halfway House Inn at Two Waters Foot is again just over three miles by car and the historic town of Bodmin, 6 miles, has a good selection of shops, supermarkets, cinema and leisure centre.
Whilst Little Oak Barn is the perfect base for guests who enjoy complete relaxation for the more energetic, Cardinham Woods with walk and cycle trails is just a few minutes drive away. The legendary Bodmin Moor with the famous Jamaica Inn for a pie and a pint is 20 minutes by car. The beautiful waterfalls and cascades at Golitha Falls are close to Jamaica Inn and well worth a visit.
For beach goers, Little Oak Barn is just half an hour from the popular beaches at Looe on the South and Polzeath on the North.
Stay - The Accommodation...Little Oak Barn is a spacious property with reverse layout style accommodation. To the entrance level from the garden you will find a very good size kitchen/diner with all the usual appliances to hand. Off the kitchen is the comfortable living room with exposed wooden flooring, two sofas and feature wood burner.
From the living room a flight of stairs leads down to a pretty carpeted double bedroom with ample hanging and drawer space. A separate, fully tiled shower room WC completes the accommodation layout.
Outside there is an enclosed sunny garden with views out across the owners farm and stables with rolling fields beyond! There is ample off road, private parking adjacent to the property.
Don't forget...-This property welcomes one small or medium size dog over the age of 12 months

Little Oak Barn is a home away from home for us, we've been staying here for years and every time is as special as the last. The owners are incredibly welcoming and the cottage has all you need for a comfortable stay. A perfect bolt hole for exploring Bodmin and the surrounding areas.

A warm welcome awaits you, and a cream tea. If you want peace and quiet and a lovely setting, then Little Oak Barn is the place for you. We have been staying at this property since 2008, so I think that says it all. Go on, book a stay, you will not be disappointed.
