Merbein Farmhouse is 3* character farmhouse with a lovely deck and garden within a 10 minute walk of Watergate Bay and numerous coastal walks.

This rambling yet cosy traditional detached farmhouse nestles in the centre of a small hamlet. The house retains many original features including beams and inglenook fireplaces although, of course, providing modern bathroom and kitchen facilities. Watergate Bay, well known for the Extreme Academy and Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant is just over half a mile away, so within easy walking distance. The coastal path laces the cliff tops down towards the holiday resort of Newquay only 5 miles away and 7 miles to the north lies the busy little fishing town of Padstow.  No matter what your preference, there is such a variety of things to do and places to go whether you be interested in sport, architecture, fishing, bird and wildlife, gardens and historic buildings - not to mention fine dining and drinking. Changeover Day: Friday - arrival 3:00pm - departure 10:00am.

Security Deposit: £150.

Pet Welcome: Maximum 1; £25 per week Information about bringing your pet.

Power and Heat: Oil and electricity included in rent; oil c.h./hot water, woodburning stove in lounge, logs provided in the winter months.

Bedding and Linen: Bed linen provided; towels may be hired from the housekeeper at £3.50 per person per week.

Baby Equipment: This is a "Baby Friendly" property. Please order baby equipment in advance.

Shop: Seasonal shop on campsite 5 min walk, otherwise 2 mls  Pub: 0.5 ml
