The river and sea of course play a major role in the area and there are a host of ways to enjoy them. Take a harbour cruise from the Town Quay in season allowing you to view the town from a different perspective, or for the more adventurous, why not rent a self-drive boat or kayak and explore the estuary at your leisure.

"This is the third time that we’ve used Cornish Horizons in the last three years and each of the properties that we’ve stayed in has been excellent in respect of cleanliness, standard of decor and location. The website is also one of the easiest to navigate and the staff in the local office are courteous and knowledgeable. The property was extremely clean and tastefully decorated."

"This is a very stylish property but not at the expense of comfort! It is extremely well equipped and to a very high standard. At first we were a little apprehensive about the closeness of the apartment to the car park for the Bodinnick Ferry but our fears were unfounded as any early morning noise is not noticed, in fact looking onto the car park and ferry can be quite interesting watching cars and pedestrians navigate their way on and off the ferry. I would like to say that this property was a great place to stay both as a base to visit other parts of Cornwall and the best for access in and out of Fowey as you don't have to fight your way through the one-way system in Fowey town centre. A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a wonderful apartment in a wonderful little Cornish village."
