Curl up on the plush sofas and enjoy the views from the floor-to-ceiling windows to truly enjoy the serenity of this location, before the designated chef of the group rustles up a home-cooked meal within the extensively-fitted kitchen, benefitting from a dishwasher and a washer/dryer for your convenience. As the evening draws to a close, choose to retire to the double bedroom with an en-suite shower room or the twin bedroom, each boasting French doors that open onto the decked area. During a summer’s evening choose to enjoy a spot of alfresco dining before dipping into the bubbling hot tub which ensures your privacy as you take in the surrounding views. If you don’t feel like cooking one evening, a short stroll will bring you to the superb Old Mill lakeside bar and restaurant, where you can look forward to tucking into your delicious meal whilst resting next to the woodburning stove or sitting on the decked area to overlook Miller’s Island. To keep you busy whilst staying at 9 Lake View, venture to the village of Lanreath, where you will find a selection of amenities, or a little further to the fishing port of Looe where you can laze on the glorious sand or enjoy one of the watersports on offer. For those feeling adventurous, explore the South West Coast Path, where you can enjoy miles of breath-taking scenery and a plethora of wildlife. 9 Lake View is the ideal base for a family looking to explore all of the delights of this part of Cornwall.

Lanreath is a small village resting within South East Cornwall, just a few miles away from Looe. Within the village you will find a local shop, a Post Office as well as a parish church. Housekeeping need to check the robes better, both at the lodge had holes in them, one was large, note left with the robes on departure asking for them to be replaced. Outside area did not appear to have been cleaned, table and chairs covered in cobwebs, table was filthy, we had to clean before use, one chair had been left round with the hanging seat. Would it be possible to have a mirror put up for when leaving the lodge entrance, have to go quite away out to actually be able to see if anything is coming from the left, couple of near misses. We had a fabulous time and would Definately return.

Spotlessly clean, very spacious, we loved the wrap around deck and the egg chair was a treat to sit in with a good book! The hot tub was fabulous! A great location to explore the surrounding area of Cornwall. We were disturbed on quite a number of days by maintenance work on the trees which was the biggest down side but this apart it is a peaceful area and we loved staying here. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but called in for a drink and sat outside on the deck overlooking the lake which was relaxing. I would definitely recommend a holiday on this well maintained site, we certainly intend to return. Sally and Martha in guest relations were both extremely helpful.

Could easily move in and live there. The park is beautiful too and well maintained, it's really quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommended to anyone who would love little holiday in Cornwall.
