This large fishing port houses a lively maritime on East Looe which is connected to West Looe by a seven arched 19th century bridge over the River Looe. East Looe houses a good selection of tourist shops, pubs and restaurants, while West Looe has a view across the harbour. There is a sandy beach which is popular with families as it is safe for swimming and has an expanse of sand.
