Set in the pretty village of Kingsand, Birdcage Cottage is perfect for those of you keen to experience ‘real’ Cornwall. After a day frolicking on the beach, step into Birdcage Cottage and you’ll find the shower room conveniently located on the ground floor so you can easily wash those sandy toes before heading into the kitchen, with its delightful AGA, to cook supper.

The dining area with its feature fireplace and six-seater table will not disappoint. On a warm summer evening, you could enjoy sitting in the small decking area at the front of the cottage watching the world go by in the picturesque narrow lane of this old Cornish smuggling village. 

Winding up the stairs, you will find the master bedroom with its wooden floors allowing a coolness that you might well need in the summer months. The sash window, where you can sit and admire the view, lets in the cool coastal breeze to afford a comfortable nights sleep. Alternatively relax in the living area where the wood panelled walls invite daydreams of being on a square-rigger, maybe watching out for those smugglers!

The second bedroom with its king size bed, is located on the top floor and is kept cool with bare brick walls and wooden floors. The window gives a charming view over the narrow lanes leading to the sea.
