About this property

A charming 18th century end of terrace house retaining many of its period features combines traditional charm with modern comforts in the centre of the colourful village of Cawsand on the Rame Peninsula, and only a short walk from the pretty little beach which offers safe bathing and all the village amenities. Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty with spectacular walks along the coastline to Rame Head, the property is tucked into a narrow winding street that actually forms part of the South West Coast Path.

Entered from the street with a cafe and deli next door four steps lead up to the front door with threshold and step into the hall with laminate floor and storage space for coats and boots. A further four carpeted steps take you into a comfortable carpeted snug with a wood burning stove, comfortable lounge seating and a sash window, to one side of the snug four carpeted steps lead down to a second light and spacious carpeted sitting room with bay window overlooking the street, comfortable lounge seating and ornamental fireplace. To the other side of the snug one step leads into the fitted kitchen with tile floor, door to W.C with hand basin, further door to outside decked patio and a dining table and chairs in the corner.

From the snug eight carpeted steps with handrail take you to the first floor half landing off which is the master double bedroom with stripped timber floor, walk in wardrobe and sash window overlooking the street. Opposite is a shower room with a vinyl floor, pedestal wash basin and heated towel rail. The carpeted half landing splits with three carpeted steps leading to two comfortable furnished carpeted light bedrooms, a double and one with versatile bunks with a single bed over a sturdy double bed, and a family bathroom W.C with vinyl floor and wash basin. A further twelve carpeted narrow steps lead to a light twin bedroom with built in cupboards and a window overlooking the roof tops. Opposite the bedroom is an en-suite shower room W.C with vinyl floor, step up into the glazed shower unit and wash basin.

Outside to the front of the property is an enclosed small patio with cast iron railings overlooking the street. Outside at the rear of the property accessed from the kitchen with a step opens onto a small enclosed decked area and thirty eight narrow stone steps leading up to the raised patio with garden furniture and wonderful sea views. The patio has a low stone wall to the front and side and is not suitable for young children, the elderly or people with limited mobility.

Parking is in the pay and display village car park about 500 yards away and there are a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants both in Cawsand and Kingsand within a five minute stroll. The sheltered cove is popular for swimming and water sports and a summer ferry runs from Plymouth landing on Cawsand beach.
