For flexibility, a second spacious bedroom is furnished with a zip and link bed, which can be presented as a twin beds or a super king size bed on request. There is a garden at the front and another at the rear with a patio for barbecues and alfresco meals. The hot tub is screened from view and looks out across a meadow. The property is off the beaten track, in the rustic hamlet of Merrymeet near Liskeard. Ideally placed for exploring the coasts and moorlands of both Cornwall and Devon, it offers a varied and memorable holiday experience. A dream venue for walkers, access to the south west coast path, three miles of sandy beaches and surfing at Whitsand Bay, Downderry and Seaton a 20 minute drive away. The historic market town of Liskeard is located in South East Cornwall at the head of the Looe Valley. The town has a weekly market and is home to a number of shops, pubs and restaurants. The beaches and harbour of the quaint fishing port of Looe is a mere 9 miles away. In-between there’s fishing and watersports at nearby Siblyback Lake, the Donkey Sanctuary at St Ann's Chapel, Cotehele House (NT) and gardens, and the championship golf course at St Mellion International Resort. Head to the world-famous Eden Project for a superb day out with the children. Even the maritime city of Plymouth with its historic Barbican docks area, outstanding shops, theatres and restaurants and the National Maritime Museum is only 30 minutes by car.
