A laid-back and contemporary 2 bedroomed apartment on the Pentire Peninsula, just 2 minutes walk from the famous Fistral Beach - acknowledged as one of best surfing beaches in the UK.
The apartment has everything you need for a fabulous holiday by the sea. The open plan living space has underfloor heating to keep your cosy if the evenings get chill. The lounge area has comfy sofas, a Samsung 55" TV with Sonos playbar and sub, a PS3, and plenty of DVD's and board games. A double sofa bed provides extra accommodation for guests (additional cost applies - please see the owner’s website).
The kitchen is fully equipped with a range cooker, larder cupboard, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher. A utility cupboard is stocked with a washer and dryer
The Master bedroom has a king-size double bed and an ensuite bathroom - again with underfloor heating. The twin room has 2 full size single beds and plenty of space for storage. There is an additional family shower room with WC.
French windows lead outside to a delightful small, decked patio garden with sea view. There is a lockable surf shed for your boards.
The apartment has a secure keypad entrance system and also has allocated parking within the car park, which is protected by remote controlled gates.
Newquay is the surfing capital of the UK - and with 12 beaches in the vicinity it is easy to see why. The golden stretch of Fistral Beach is the most famous and has some of the best surfing in Europe. It has its own surf school, so if you need some tips to improve or have never tried it - now is your chance!
The town has a vibrant cultural life and there are plenty of live events throughout the year, many of them free! There are some great family attractions - youngsters will love the Aquarium and Zoo. The Lappa Valley Mini Steam Railway is always popular with little ones.
On the other side of the Pentire Peninsula is the beautiful Gannel Estuary. Why not take the small ferry boat across the water to visit the quieter Crantock Beach - a fabulous stretch of golden sand framed by dunes and wildlife-rich grasslands. Head off along the South West Coastal Path for spectacular scenery and breathtaking views.
Cornwall has become a bit of a foodie mecca with Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth at Padstow, Chris Eden at The Driftwood, near Portscatho, Nathan Outlaw in Port Isaac and Rock and Jamie Oliver at Watergate Bay. Along with the big names, there are plenty of excellent cafes, restaurants and country pubs to explore… and after a busy day on the beach, there really is nothing better than freshly caught fish and chips!
With the best of Cornwall's attractions within easy reach of Newquay - the Eden Project, St Ives, The Lost Garden of Heligan are all less than an hour away - it is really easy to find something for all the family.
