Porth View is a modern, reverse level end terrace house set in the grounds of The Glendorgal Hotel. The property makes the most of its elevated position with stunning views across Porth Beach and out to sea.

Internally, the property offers a light and airy open plan living, kitchen and dining area which is furnished to a high standard throughout. The living area also gives access to a balcony offering sea views. Bedroom One has patio doors leading to an enclosed garden with a furnished decked area, ideal for al fresco dining.

The Glendorgal Hotel is set on a 17 acre private and gated headland. From the grounds there is direct access to the beach and out onto a network of spectacular coastal walks. Porth Beach is a secluded, sandy beach and is ideal for families as the beach is considered by many to be one of the safest in Cornwall for swimming.

The more adventurous may wish to visit Lusty Glaze Beach with its adventure centre featuring surfing, coasteering and kitesurfing. There is also a restaurant and beach barbeque available to feed hungry mouths after an adrenaline filled day.

The surfing hotspot, Fistral Beach is a short drive away, boasting some of the finest surfing conditions in the UK. Newquay town centre is within easy reach and here you will find a bustling town bursting with shops, cafes and restaurants.

...The property was spotless on arrival and had all the home comforts we needed. You don't park directly outside the accommodation, there's a main car park then a short path to the accommodation. The kitchen has everything you need, the showers were brilliant and the beds were comfy too. There's a short 5 minute walk to Lusty Glaze beach, then 130 steps down to the beach, this wasn't a problem for us and the reward is a super clean beautiful beach with fantastic surf, shop, bar, restaurant, equipment hire jet ski's etc. Dogs are ok on a lead here too. There's also a bit of a longer 10 minute walk to Porth Beach on the other side. The waves were not as good there, but the beach is clean and when the tide is out you can stroll over to the headland directly across. No Dogs allowed on this beach apparently but we never saw any signs to confirm that. A 20 minute walk will take you into Newquay centre, plenty of shops and bars etc. Make sure you visit Newquay harbour and see the Sea Lions following the fishing boats in then begging for handouts! My family (two adults, two children 16 and 14) loved it and we will be booking again for next summer. Submitted by Paul on 19/08/2016

...beautiful and the house has everything you need. The town is a nice short walk away and the cliff top walks are breathtaking. The best thing is that we could take our dog, most of the beaches are dog friendly and the restaurants are also. The views from the open plan dining room balcony were beautiful and to sit there in the morning sunshine was lovely. We had an amazing time and will definitely return. Many thanks Submitted by Anna on 31/07/2016
