Hidden down a tiny alleyway is this character cottage, 'Chy Gwyn Rosen', (Cornish for 'White Rose Cottage'). Cosy and charming, many original features preserved - stone fireplace, slate flagged floor, stripped doors and floorboards - results in a sweet little holiday home which is a short walk from the harbour.

We said we would return and we have! A wonderful week as always, despite the weather. The cottage is great with all the home comforts- and so close to all our favourite places to eat. Number 6 is our most favourite, we also had a lovely evening meal in the Golden Lion. Also Prawn on the Lawn for seafood tapas . Head across the estuary to the Morning Pub, the chips are a delight! Best week of the year. We will of course be returning!

A very enjoyable stay in this cosy, clean, warm, comfortable cottage. Padstow has been as wonderful as usual. We'd recommend a visit to Rock and Polzeath, both great dog beaches.
