The open-plan dining/sitting area features high ceilings and exposed beams, reminding you of the true origin of the property as you settle down on the sofa in front of the woodburner for the night with your loved one. The kitchen is a modest but marvellous space, ideal for preparing any meal you fancy throughout the day with an array of appliances. Head to the front of the property where there is an enclosed garden, here the dog can run around whilst you relax with a book in the sunlight. If you fancy treating yourself to delicious cuisine outside of the cottage, just 3.1 miles away you will find The Golden Lion Inn on the edge of Stithians Reservoir, offering stunning scenery and fantastic food, it’s the perfect way to spend a romantic evening. For a wide variety of restaurants, head to the coastal town of Falmouth, boasting an array of eateries and historic landmarks including The King’s Pipe, Pendennis Castle, and the Charles Darwin Plaque, it’s rich in history and adventure, the perfect place to mosey away the day in the sunshine. Under 20 miles to both Penzance and St. Ives, Toadstools is a wonderful property, perfect for both couples and friends looking to explore the quaint and scenic areas of Cornwall.
Penryn is one of the oldest market towns in Cornwall, with lots of historic architecture and heritage surrounding the harbour, it's a quiet and quaint town perfect for all weather trips. It's peaceful and perfect for pubs, taking in amazing views, and exploring the history of Cornwall. Walk along the coastline and take in the sea breeze whilst eating fish and chips and enjoying each other's company.

Cottage lovely and cosy, comfy bed, everything you need from cooking your own food to lounging and watching tv. Garden enclosed so ideal for our dog, would be ideal in nice weather to sit outside. Thank you for a lovely stay.

It was perfectly situated for my walking in the South Coast path around Falmouth and the Lizard. Toadstools was very well described and I didnât want for anything- with the exception of a vacuum for cleaning at the end of the stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I slept really well. The shower was lovely and hot. I lit a fire on a couple of evenings in the log burner, how cosy. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend Toadstools.

Quiet, and peaceful. Just what we needed to get away from it all. The cottage was clean and well equipped. However, the sofa was low for us but not a massive problem. The courtyard was fully enclosed, and private, which was piece of mind when letting our little dog out. It was nice to sit out when the weather allowed. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay again.
