Susanna's Apartment, on the first floor (arrow 3), is named after the wife of Acton Castle's eccentric creator. Nearby, you can spend the day exploring St Michaels Mount or Penzance, both within a short drive, or for those seeking a day at the seaside the sandy beaches at Perran Sands, Marazion and Praa Sands are some of the best in the South West.

The Apartment was lovely it had everything we needed the surroundings are beautiful the only drawback we found was the lane to the approach of the castle really could do with fixing

The light comes in when a ring is still on so at least it is clear if you have made a mistake when you have finished cooking. That is the only reason I marked this down slightly. Otherwise everything was lovely and the location is stunning.
