Within easy reach of Perranporths fine golden sands, Sunny Corner is a two-storey property within a group of converted stone barns located in the small hamlet of Penhallow. This property comfortably accommodates up to six guests and is suitable for both families or a group of friends. On the first floor there are three bedrooms, the master bedroom with the bonus of a useful en-suite shower room as well as a separate family bathroom. The ground floor is open plan and whomever is preparing the meal won't feel left out as this is a very social space with 40 television in the living area. There is a small path to the communal lawned area to the front of the barn which is also shared by the other residents and there is a dedicated parking space for one car beside the garden. Within a short walk is the family friendly White House Inn and within a short drive is the popular Healeys Cider Farm where you can explore the orchards, take a guided tour or simply enjoy the produce in the tearoom. Further afield, the fantastic beaches of Newquay; Fistral, Crantock, Lusty Glaze, Watergate Bay and Magwan Porth for surfing, sandcastle building and ice creams. Ideally located to enjoy all that the North Cornish Coast offers, Sunny Corner is an excellent choice for a traditional summer holiday.
Perranporth, a beautiful Cornish coastal town, lies in the heart of Poldark Country, the setting for the novels of Winston Graham who lived in Perranporth in the 1930s. Perranporth offers plenty of traditional pubs and shops, plus a classic bucket-and-spade beach that is lifeguarded in summer, overlooked by craggy rocks and a wonderful coastal path. Once known as the source of the finest tin, the community still retains reminders of the rich heritage with abandoned pump houses, mine shafts and workers cottages. The local Blue Hills Museum and Perranzabuloe Folk Museum are both well worth a visit to understand the fascinating history of this coastal area. Further afield are the miles of sandy beaches at Crantock and Holywell Bay, and the breathtaking coastal walks around St Agnes, much of it owned by the National Trust. A perfect holiday base in Cornwall, with an abundance of activities to suit everyone.
