Derelict for over two decades, 1 Goonlaze Manor House has experienced an outstanding transformation resulting in the most sumptuous and elegant apartment just a stone’s throw from the centre of the North Cornwall coastal village of St Agnes. With great attention to detail, all the original features have been restored including the impressive wooden front door and the immense inglenook fireplace in the living room now home complete with wood-burning stove.
The bold mix of colour and style has resulted in an eclectic feel with a vintage twist. Luxury furnishings, high specification appliances and modern air source underfloor heating throughout is sure to guarantee that this apartment will wow you! Snuggle up on the velvet sofa and watch your favourite movies by the glow from the flames. Cook up a tasty brunches in the the elegant kitchen and enjoy long, lazy mornings in the snug bedrooms.
With so much to do in the area 1 Goonlaze Manor House is well-located for days out exploring the surrounding coastline and villages. The village of St Agnes provides a good range of eateries and independent shops providing all the provisions you need on your doorstep. The main A30 is a 15 minute drive away meaning that you can explore Cornwall easily heading either north or west.

We had a truly lovely stay here for our Minimoon, the property was renovated beautifully to a really high standard, and we arrived to some really thoughtful touches which were also very much appreciated. St Agnes itself is the perfect little base for South West Cornwall, we were just a few a seconds walk away from a lovely restaurant and other parts of the village were easily accessible (Local fruit and Veg shop, Butchers, Bakery and Deli) as well as plenty of towns and things to see and do being within easy reach. Whilst we would love to explore the area in warmer weather to enjoy more of the local walks, Goonlaze was still a perfect, cosy retreat for winter. We will be back!

We originally booked a weeks stay for November 2020, this was postponed twice more due to the pandemic. It was worth the wait! The apartment is clean, sumptuously decorated and feels very luxurious. We particularly liked the extra touches - fresh flowers, personalised hand written welcome note, cream tea (delicious), chilled fizz in the fridge(also delicious!), shampoo and conditioner and the little pots of sweets! All these in addition to milk, tea/coffee, butter, cooking oil, dishwasher tablets etc. Fiona responds to any queries promptly and nothing is too much trouble for her. The kitchen is well equipped, with quality appliances. All linens used are also of good quality. 1 Goonlaze Manor really is a wonderful place to unwind and we wholeheartedly recommend it. Thank you for making our winter break perfect!

A beautiful, stylish but still very cosy property situated in an unspoilt little gem on the Cornish coast. I have extremely high standards when it comes to holiday accommodation and Goonlaze Manor met every one. The owners provide everything you need, going above and beyond with their thoughtful little touches in addition. We immediately felt at home there and were very sad to leave !
