In an ideal touring location close to the coast and many breathtaking beaches this cosy character detached cottage is situated wihin the grounds of the owner's property in a beautifully quiet and tranquil setting yet only five miles from Newquay and the stunning north Cornish coastline. You will feel both relaxed and at home the moment you arrive at the Bothy. All on one level there is a delightful open plan living room with sitting and dining areas adjoining the bedroom and a separate kitchen and bathroom. Outside a patio with furniture overlooking the garden is a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast alfresco or to relax with a drink at the end of the day. Both beach lovers and walkers will delight at the numerous options available here. With walks right from the door deep into the countryside and the glorious South West Coast Path just a few miles away you really are spoilt for choice. Most of Cornwall's finest beaches including Watergate Bay, Lusty Glaze, Great Western, Fistral and Crantock are all within a short drive and with the many others close by you could enjoy a different beach every day for a week and still have some to enjoy on your next visit. A wonderful base for a holiday for two at any time of the year.

Newquay is the home of the UK’s surf scene, boasting three beaches, the National Surf Centre and an endless supply of rolling surf, making it a watersports paradise. The town, with its zoo, sea life centre and selection of restaurants and pubs, also promises a holiday to remember. For avid walkers, the South West Coast Path passes in both directions along a stunning coastline of high cliffs, hidden coves and yet more beaches. The harbour and fishing village of Padstow is just 14 miles away, while Truro, with its museums, cathedral, restaurants and cobbled streets, as well as the Eden Project, can be reached within 45 minutes. St Ives and the Tate St Ives gallery is around an hour's drive away. In fact, because nothing in Cornwall is far from Newquay, it’s the perfect touring base.
