This is a well proportioned property and the billiard table was a hit. We are a family of 4 who enjoys space and Mawgwen certainly gives you that. We would definitely book again.

A well kept, comfortable holiday home not too far from portcothan beach. It was clean and had all the cooking utensils and pans needed for a home away from home. There is also a great communal area upstairs with a pool table to enjoy. There is one very large bedroom while the other 3 are much smaller. Beds were comfortable, although quite creaky and pillows were a bit hard. The Bbq was a bit rusty and could use some care. Generally speaking though, a great property for a group of friends or family, which is good value for money.

Mawgwen is a short walk to Porthcothan beach and there is a bus every 1/2 hour from the beach car park that stops very close to the property. Its the perfect property for extended family, lots of space and plenty of showers/wcs so no queueing in the mornings even with teenagers. Pool table that the teens loved. Very quiet location and a camp shop close by if you run out of supplies. Lovely views from the balcony especially in the evenings watching the sunset. We all had a lovely holiday.
