The spacious sitting/dining room forms the heart of the house where you can catch up on the day's events in front of a roaring fire, you will also find books, DVDs and games for the children and if you need some peace and quiet there is also a study. Upstairs, the three beautifully presented bedrooms with crisp linens and fluffy towels complete the picture. Swing open the windows to the glorious cottage garden and distant sea views. Enjoy breakfast in the pretty enclosed south facing garden before heading out to explore the many attractions Cornwall has on offer. Later on fire up the barbecue, set in its own area well away from the thatched roof and enjoy alfresco dining surrounded by abundant flora and complete privacy. Coverack beach is ideal for families with rock pools and shallow waters. You can also try out kayaking or windsurfing in the sheltered water of Coverack windsurfing centre. For a less energetic option relax and unwind with a pampering session at the luxury health spa set within the beautiful surroundings of the nearby Trelowarren Estate. The cottage is ideally placed for exploring the Lizard Peninsula and Helford River. The popular beaches of Polurrian, Gunwalloe and Kynance Cove are most definitely worth a visit as is the quaint fishing cove of Cadgwith. Within easy reach by car is the market town of Helston with many shops and supermarkets, as well as the lovely town centre, port and beaches of Falmouth. Perfectly located to explore some of Cornwall's great attractions but Thatch Cottage is also a home from home that you will want to visit again.

Coverack, on the southern edge of the Lizard Peninsula, is a small picturesque fishing village. The village retains much of its original charm and atmosphere with art gallery cafes and shops. A large, sheltered, crescent shaped beach and an array of watersports makes this a wonderful choice.
