On-site there is a fantastic childrens play zone (under twelves only) and a conservatory bar where adults can enjoy a refreshing drink after a day at the beach. Located just one mile from the popular village of St Merryn and the town of Padstow, visitors have an abundance of restaurants, pubs and amenities close by. Further afield, the beautiful beaches of Newquay are definitely worth a visit for surfers. Chalet 184 is a wonderful lodge which can be enjoyed throughout the year. St Merryn is a typical Cornish village, located within two miles of the coast and close to the harbour and fishing port of Padstow. St Merryn offers two pubs, three restaurants, mini markets and a Post Office and there are many attractions nearby. 11 miles away is Newquay which has three major beaches, the National Surf Centre and an endless supply of rolling surf, ideal for watersports. There is also good shopping , a zoo and Sealife centres, as well as nightlife.

Bathroom was in a terrible condition. Broken window, cracked bath, black mould over toilet pipe work. Tv not working, bulbs blown in bedrooms. Just generally not at all good value for money. One positive it was clean.
